Prophecy given via Lance Lambert at Mt Carmel, Israel, in April 1986

In view of the current world situation, I thought it appropriate to bring this prophecy to attention once again. Having had the privilege to have been at the Prophetic Gathering in Jerusalem in 1986, this word has remained with me ever since.

'It will not be long before there will come upon the world a time of unparalleled upheaval and turmoil. Do not fear; it is I the LORD who am shaking all things. I began this shaking with the First World War, and I greatly increased it through the Second World War. Since 1973 I have given it an even greater impetus. In the last stage, I plan to complete it with the shaking of the universe itself, with signs in sun and moon and stars. But before that point is reached I will judge the nations, and the time is near. It will not only be by war and civil war, by anarchy and terrorism, and by monetary collapses that I will judge the nations, but also by natural disasters: by earthquake, by shortages and famines, and by old and new plague diseases. I will also judge them by giving them over to their own ways, to lawlessness, to loveless selfishness, to delusion and to believing a lie; to false religion and an apostate church, even to a Christianity without Me.
Do not fear when these things begin to happen, for I disclose these things to you before they commence in order that you might be prepared, and that in the day of trouble and of evil you may stand firm and overcome. For I purpose that you may become the means of encouraging and strengthening many who love Me but who are weak. I desire that through you many may become strong in Me, and that multitudes of others might find My salvation through you.
And hear this! Do not fear the power of the Kremlin, nor the power of the Islamic Revolution, for I plan to break both of them through Israel. I will bring down their pride and their arrogance, and shatter them because they have blasphemed My Name. In that day I will avenge the blood of all the martyrs and of the innocent ones whom they have slaughtered. I will surely do this thing for they have thought that there was no one to judge them. But I have seen their ways and I have heard the cries of the oppressed and of the persecuted and I will break their power and make an end of them. Be therefore prepared for when all this comes to pass, to you will be given the last great opportunity to preach the gospel freely to all the nations.
In the midst of all the turmoil and shaking, and at the heart of everything, is My church. In the heavenlies she is joined to Me in one Spirit, and I have destined her for the throne. You who are My beloved, whom I have redeemed and anointed - you are mine. I will equip and empower you and you will rise up and do great things in My Name, even in the midst of darkness and evil. For I will reveal My power, and My grace and My glory through you. Do not hold back nor question My ways with you, for in all My dealings with you I have always in mind that you should be part of My bride and reign with Me. Do not forget that this requires especial discipline and training. So yield to Me that I might do a work in you in the time which is left, for I plan even during all this shaking that the bride will make herself ready.
And in the midst of nations on earth, seething with unrest and conflict, I have set My Israel. Yes, I say My Israel, even though they walk in disobedience and transgression, in the stubbornness of their hearts, divorced from Me through unbelief. Nevertheless, always remember that I made them enemies of the gospel for your sake. I the LORD, I Myself blinded them and hardened them that salvation might come to the gentiles in fullness. Yet they are still mine, beloved of Me with a tender and an undying love. They are My kith and My kin, and I love them. Shall I give them up for all that they have done to Me, says the LORD? Yet I have surrendered them to sorrow, to anguish of heart and to continuous suffering. But I have never given them up. In all their afflictions I was afflicted, though I neither delivered nor saved them from death. Nevertheless I have been present; I the King of Israel, I have been present, although unnoticed and unregarded, in all their sufferings. There was no gas chamber, no massacre in which I was not present. But now the time has surely come when I shall receive them, for I will reveal Myself to them and with astonishment they will recognize Me.
For in the midst of these judgments multitudes upon multitudes will be saved across the nations. You will hardly know how to bring the harvest in, but My Spirit will equip you for the task. And to Israel will I also turn in that day, and I will melt the hardening which has befallen her. I will turn their blindness into clear sight and tear away the veil on their heart. Then shall they be redeemed with heart-bursting joy, and it will become a fountain of new and resurrection life to the whole company of the redeemed.
Do not fear for these days, for I have purposed that you should stand with Me and serve Me in them. Fear not, for I love you and I will protect you and equip you. I, the LORD, will anoint you with a new anointing and you will work My works and fulfill My counsel. You shall stand before Me, the LORD of the whole earth, and serve Me with understanding and with power, and you shall reign with Me during these days. Above all I call you to be intercessors.

It is significant that in 1917, during the First World War, the British Balfour Declaration resulted in Jews beginning to return to Israel. This was a Shmita year (Biblical 7- year cycle.)
1945 marked the end of the Second World War and the the Holocaust. This was also a Shmita year. 1973, the year of the Yom Kippur War in Israel and when the US lost the Vietnamese War, was also a Shmita year. Great Britain, Ireland, and Denmark entered the European Economic Community. The original World Trade Center featured landmark twin towers, opened on April 4, 1973.

The twin towers fell, precipitating the next massive world shaking, on 09.11. 2001, followed by a huge stock market crash, which was also a Shmita year.

We are now in the 7th year of the present 7 year cycle, which ends next September 13th, 2015, a Sunday. It will be interesting to see if anything happens between Friday, September 11th 2015 (Elul 27) when Wall Street closes - and Sunday September 13th - Elul 29, the end of the Shmita year.
See Jonathan Cahn: 'The Harbinger' and 'The Mystery of the Shemita' for more information.

More importantly, we need to be focusing our eyes on Jesus alone. What is He saying to us? Are we being obedient?

Jesus said, "According to your faith, be it unto you".

It's impossible to avoid seeing posts about theological arguments if you frequent social networks and have connections to believers, particularly in conservative evangelical camps. As a new believer I grew up with a particular eschatalogical viewpoint and vehemently stuck to it. However, one comes across opinions of all shades in Christendom and in the church we used to attend until 7 years ago, eschatology (as well as other contentious issues) was neglected, for the simple reason that no-one really knew how to talk about it and it was considered easier to avoid it.

When we went out of organised church, I spent a lot of time, as many do, searching in the internet for people who had gone through the same kind of experience as we had gone through, and found many who had come out of organised church, especially in America. Their input has been really important to me. I think of Stephanie Bennett in Florida, https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/koinonialife/info Michael Clark in Idaho, http://awildernessvoice.com/ and the late Jay Ferris http://lovinglikegod.com/ in North Carolina. The networks where I found myself, through contact with them, brought me into contact with opinions of all kinds. I was brought up in the UK,  and now live in Germany, far from the kind of conservative evangelical churches many in the US were brought up in and were influenced by. So I haven't been affected by that kind of religion, and sometimes feel unable to relate to the kind of reaction many who have come out of that kind of organised religion have, when looking back. The religion I came out of was nonetheless just as dangerous and misleading, perhaps because it was more subtle in some ways.

Anyway, part of my journey away from religion has included forays into the camps of people who espouse other eschatalogical persuasions than the one I grew up with. Their views challenged my own, but one thing began to become more and more important to me... Most of these people were no longer focused on their own theological position; they were far more focused on Jesus alone. HE was their all-consuming passion and they deliberately chose to walk away from theological arguments ABOUT Him. This made a deep impression on me. I have been influenced for many years by strong theological opinions, but the fact that the lives of those who held these had not been changed BY what they purported to believe made me see that it isn't our theological opinions which are important, but a strong relationship with the Lord Jesus Himself. A child has no idea about the arguments between pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib raptures or the Koiné Greek used to back up such arguments, but a child can receive revelation from the Holy Spirit and love the Lord with all his heart.

HUGE amount of marketing and money are spent on the whole rapture question. How can this be  money well spent? Websites are given over to it and monumental arguments take place over the issue. How can this be time well spent?

The other day, a thought occurred to me. Jesus said, 'According to your faith, be it unto you'... (Matt 9:29). The men to whom Jesus said this were healed of their blindness. But we cannot receive anything from the Lord except by faith in His word, on any matter, whether provision, healing, wisdom, foreknowledge etc. And it occurred to me that perhaps this whole rapture question is the same.

I wonder if perhaps the various eschatalogical positions are ALL correct? It's just a question.

Maybe it just depends on a person's FAITH, where he will end up - in the rapture, pre-trib or after, post-trib, or none? Maybe all the arguments we have about the subject are fruitless discussions ... if we spent our time looking to Jesus alone and spending time in His presence, (after all, we become like the One we worship -  Psalm 115:8) our faith would grow, because He would give us revelation as we look to Him. We have to watch out that our focus isn't on theological positions, but on the One who loves us. He will lead us, give us whatever revelation we need, as we come to Him.

Hannukah Baking

In light of the fact that all across Germany people are baking Weihnachtsplätzchen, many of which are incredibly sweet and sugary, I thought I'd try out a few savoury biscuits for Hannukah instead. This is a picture of the results. It's a simple cheese pastry with mustard and a dash of cayenne pepper and decorated with different seeds and toppings.

Starting at the top left, we have 'Caraway Stars,' top right; 'Bleeding Hearts', bottom left; 'Cheese and Olive Menorahs', middle; 'Ketzakh Kokhavim', (Black Cumin Stars) middle right; 'Magen Davids' and bottom right; 'Gabriels'.

I thought up these names for the biscuits, which are to remember the events surrounding the Feast of Dedication in 164 BC. The 'Bleeding Hearts' are simple cheese pastry hearts brushed with a bit of sundried tomato pesto - to remember Hannah whose seven sons were brutally martyred by Antiochus Epiphanes rather than worship his gods and assimilate themselves to Hellenism. The 'Menorahs' (topped with a bit of gouda and a 1/8 of an olive) are to remember the miracle of the Menorah oil in the Temple which, although only enough for one day, miraculously lasted 8 days. The 'Magen Davids' are to remember that Yeshua is the Lord and our shield and the 'Gabriels' (brushed with egg white and covered with sesame seeds,) are to remember that Mariam was visited by the Archangel Gabriel  and told that she would conceive the Messiah by the Holy Spirit. Maybe next year I'll find a dove biscuit cutter and make biscuits like doves. This was fun.

Who Rules?

Last night our son's small group meeting took place here, and after supper they asked us to join them. I wasn't feeling well so I joined later. They talked together for a while. At one point F. said that the only two places in the German translation of the New Testament where the word 'Gottesdienst' = religious service or worship can be found, are in Romans 12:1 and James 1:27 and neither of them are talking about a religious meeting. He said that Christians had perverted the meaning from its Hebraic significance to a Greek, pagan significance. This got quite a reaction from three of the young folk in the group. F. pointed out the strength of this emotional reaction and asked them what they were afraid of.
The important point is that all three have a significant amount to lose if the system of religious goods and services is pulled down.

It got me thinking. Seven years ago, I was confronted with the same truth.  My first reaction was to feel threatened and afraid. When I asked the Lord why I was afraid, He said, 'Because your security is in church and not in Me.' In praying and thinking about this over the next few months, we both came to realise that we didn't need religious services, we just needed Jesus to be King every day of our lives. I.e. we needed the Kingdom of God; not religion. So we left the system. We lost friends, position and reputation. "But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith." Philippians 3:7-9.

This is why people react to the truth about the Kingdom; because somewhere, they have built their own kingdom or security, their own strong tower, their own lie; set up their own idol to worship it instead of the liberating King and Saviour, Jesus.
There are so many examples of this in the Bible. Adam first sinned by putting his security and trust in the lie and therefore the Liar, who had deceived his wife, presumably because he valued peace with Eve more highly than he valued fellowship with his King and Creator. He didn't want to rock the boat. Subsequently, when God called him in the cool of the day and asked where he was, his fearful reaction was to feel threatened, to run away and hide. He no longer 'knew' the One who loved him.

Cain and Abel.
Abel brought a sacrifice from his flock; a lamb, presumably, because he believed in the promise of a coming Saviour who would Himself be sacrificed for him. Cain, not accepting that a Lamb would cover his sin, brought the fruit of his own works and sweat, which was not accepted, so in reaction, in anger, guilt and shame he killed his brother.

Laban and Jacob.
Laban's idols, which symbolised his security, were stolen by his daughter Rachel, presumably so that when Jacob had vanished with all his flocks and family, Laban wouldn't be able to curse Jacob or harm him by calling on his gods. Laban reacted by hounding Jacob until he found him and would probably have hurt him had not God intervened by appearing to Laban in a dream and forbidding him to harm Jacob.

Joseph and his brothers.
Joseph's brothers hated him because his divine dreams of his future prominence threatened their own superiority as his elders. Their position and the favour of their father, Jacob, was their idol. They were jealous of the love Jacob had for Joseph and saw him supplanting them in their father's affection. After all, he was the only son of their father's true love, Rachel. He was a threat to them. They must have been afraid that Jacob would perhaps disown them (he took the birthright of the firstborn from Reuben) and take Joseph as his only blessed son - evidenced by the multicoloured robe Jacob gave Joseph. Their reaction was to take Joseph captive and sell him to the Ishmaelites, who sold him in Egypt.

Pharoah and Moses/Israel
Pharoah's whole political/religious-idolatrous system, his own cult position as son of the sun god as the personification of Ra over Egypt, was his security. Moses' God threatened it. So, when challenged, he reacted by increasing the oppression of the Israelites even more.

Gideon and the people of Ophrah
The security of the population of Ophrah lay in their fertility worship of Baal and Asherah, demons -  because of which, God had told the Israelites as they came out of Egypt, He was using Israel to eliminate the Canaanites from the land Israel was to enter. Their worship consisted of infant sacifice, including drinking human blood, sodomy and bestiality, incest, and heterosexual immorality, all perversions and abominations which polluted the human spirit and the land. We see the results of such perversions in our own day all around us, in broken families, hearts and twisted lives which abuse and pervert others in their turn. Sooner or later, a culture which indulges in occult practices and sexual immorality will fall. The people of Ophrah reacted to Gideon's destruction of the altar of Baal and their Asherah by demanding his death.

Saul and David.
Saul's security and idol lay in his position as king over Israel. David threatened it. Saul had a lot to lose, so he reacted by trying to kill David.

Jezebel and Elijah.
Jezebel's security and idols were also Baal and Asherah. Her position as queen was bound up in her belief that hers were the true gods. She had grown up as the daughter of the King of Tyre, the High Priest of Baal and King Eth-Baal, (who had murdered his predecessor). She saw YHWH's challenge to her through Elijah as a threat to her position and religious system, so she reacted by murdering YHWH's prophets and trying to murder Elijah.

The Prophets.
Subsequently, these were a constant threat to the corrupt political and religious status quo of the state system of Israel. State-sanctioned idolatry couldn't allow threats to its dominance, so in reaction, it persecuted, imprisoned and murdered the bearers of the message of truth. Isaiah, for example, is believed to have been sawn in half, by the orders of King Manasseh.

Jesus and the religious-political system of His day.
Jesus said that in Him, something greater than both the Temple and the Sabbath (in which the religious authorities had put their security) was now here. The religious authorities, Pharisees and Sadducees, reacted by handing Him over to the ruling Roman authority, saying that as Jesus claimed to be a king, He was 'threatening the rule of Caesar'. Very clever.
Rome's security and position was threatened and reacted by having Him crucified.

Who Rules? Who is King? God, or the idols of man; i.e.; his power, position, security, etc?
It's all about the place of the Kingdom of God; the rule and authority of God alone in our lives, rather than that of either the world or the religious spirit.

The Mithras Tree

It’s that ghastly time of year again - which I have been putting out of my mind for as long as possible, all the while knowing that it was inevitably creeping up on me. A friend wrote me an e-mail recently and mentioned the Christmas tree in the context of the Tree in the Garden of Eden and it got me thinking.
Genesis 3: 6 describes the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil as follows: it …‘was good for food, and … a delight to the eyes, and … desirable to make one wise.’ If Adam and Eve ate from this tree, in disobedience to the Lord’s warning not to do so, they would ‘surely die’, which is a Hebraism meaning ‘to die eternally’.
But the Tree of Knowledge was beautiful. It was full of tasty, delectable fruit (a rabbinical tradition says that the tree was a fig tree, from whose leaves Adam and Eve later made themselves aprons) and provided a short cut to wisdom if man would stretch out his hand to take it. What could be more reasonable and sensible than to do so? Wasn’t God being
mean to deprive man of such a wonderful source of provision?
The choice that Adam and Eve had before them was the choice between their reliance on Christ, the Tree of Life, (the God who walked in the garden in the cool of the day; the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world) to provide for their needs, for light, love, food, wisdom, right-standing with God - and the choice for self-reliance, which, instead of resulting in freedom, caused enslavement to the Tempter.
Eating from the Tree of Knowledge was man's deciding what was right for himself – to do good or evil, instead of simply and humbly obeying the word that God had spoken and remaining in peace, and pace, with his Maker.
It was common practice from the earliest days of disobedience to the word of God for pagans to cut down a tree, which to them symbolized the tree of life, (but was actually the opposite) decorate it, set it up and worship it, in rites of abandoned sexual immorality. They called it an Asherah pole and it symbolized male sexuality. Men and women would lie with priestesses and priests of the pagan cults of Canaan in order to ensure the fertility of the land. The result was widespread practice of child sacrifice.
Ever since that time, man has chosen his own way above the clear word of God. For example, God gave a calendar for the year to his people, in which seven feasts prophetically pointed towards the first and second coming of the Anointed One.  The tribes of Israel who were cut off from Judah in the days of King Rehoboam ended up under the rule of King Jeroboam, (1 Kings 12:28-32) who …‘said in his heart,
“Now the kingdom will return to the house of David. If this people go up to offer sacrifices in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people will return to their lord, even to Rehoboam king of Judah; and they will kill me and return to Rehoboam king of Judah.” So the king consulted, and made two golden calves, and he said to them, ‘It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem; behold your gods, O Israel, that brought you up from the land of Egypt.” He set one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan. Now this thing became a sin, for the people went to worship before the one as far as Dan. And he made houses on high places, and made priests from among all the people who were not of the sons of Levi. Jeroboam instituted a feast in the eighth month on the fifteenth day of the month, like the feast which is in Judah, and he went up to the altar; thus he did in Bethel, sacrificing to the calves which he had made. And he stationed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made. Then he went up to the altar which he had made in Bethel on the fifteenth day in the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised in his own heart; and he instituted a feast for the sons of Israel and went up to the altar to burn incense. Even the Jews of Judah did not keep the feasts as they should have done. 2 Chronicles 30:26 says of the Passover feast kept in the days of King Hezekiah that … ‘there was nothing like this in Jerusalem since the days of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel.’ So the Passover had not been kept as it should have been since Solomon’s days. In 2 Kings 23:22 it says that such a Passover had not been celebrated from the days of the judges who judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel and of the kings of Judah.’ Even Hezekiah had not kept the Passover as King Josiah did.
As followers of the Way it is clear to us that the Anointed One, the Messiah Yeshua fulfilled the first four spring feasts (Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits and Pentecost) at His first coming and that He will, at His second, fulfil the last three; Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles. In Him, we are made righteous, so now, it isn’t the keeping or the not keeping the feasts which is important, but our being ‘in Him’, who perfectly kept and is the fulfilment of the Law.
For the first three hundred years after the church was born, no-one paid any attention to the keeping of birthdays of any kind. They were considered to be pagan and avoided by followers of the Way.
Someone has said that the church first became an institution in Rome. Certainly by AD 336, in an attempt to maintain power over what she considered to be her people, just as Jeroboam had nearly 1000 years before, this increasingly Babylonian travesty of a church had instituted a new feast, the celebration of the birth of Christ. This was to syncretise the pagan cult of Mithras, the Roman sun god, borrowed from Zoroastrianism, into the arms of the Roman church. Mithras, who was worshiped under other names like Tammuz, Osiris, Baal, Apollo and Baldur in other cultures in Asia and Europe, in keeping with the fertility cult, had his birthday at the time of the winter solstice, December 25th. It seemed expedient to the Roman church to bring all pagans under her skirts by amalgamating the sun god’s birth and that of the Son of God. The feast was celebrated with the decorating of palm trees in the Mediterranean and eventually, pine trees in Northern Europe.
By the 16th Century, Germany was celebrating Christmas by the decorating of fir trees and by the 19th, Britain was doing the same, after the Christmas tree was introduced by Prince Albert, Queen Victoria’s German husband. Mithras Trees spread all over the world after that, thanks to the British Empire.
Today, Christmas is still kept by the decorating of a fir tree. Presents are laid under it, garlands, lights and goodies hung from its branches; all because we insist on doing things our way. Children are told that it they are good, Santa /satan will bring them good things; if bad, they’ll get the stick - just more indoctrination into the teaching of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Where is the teaching about grace? It’s not about how good we are or how bad; all of that is useless to bring us to God.
The Tree of Life is Yeshua Himself – and if we choose Him, we need no other tree. Will we worship Him who is invisible to everyone but those who have faith, rather than taking our eyes off Him and gazing at the perishable tree which is good for physical, temporal food, a delight to the eyes and desirable to make wise? It’s only kept for two weeks, after all. After all the materialistic self-indulgence is over, it’s thrown away. Why do we set such store by rubbish? And for those who buy an artificial tree and put it away for the following year, the same principle applies; it’s still not the Tree of Life.

Monday, 14 June 2010

As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"
And Jesus answered and said to them, "See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will mislead many."
(Matthew 24:3-5)

There have always been false Christs, but I wonder if there have ever been this many? Here are just a few.
Interesting that it's on the news.

Monday, 7 June 2010

Was making a cup of tea this morning when I felt the Lord speak to me about the British Petroleum oil spill in Louisiana. I had been asking Him what He was saying in the situation. Another sign of judgment.
This is hard, but I felt Him say that 'America wanted oil - now they have been given it in abundance.'
It is tragic when seeing the livelihoods and health of fishermen and their families destroyed. But it's just as tragic seeing the babies deformed by depleted uranium and families torn apart in Iraq and Afghanistan. How desperately this world needs to turn around and come to its Creator in humility. It's a strange and horrible thing how one sinful nation is used to bring judgment on another one. It's ironic too, that Britain, America's ally in the Middle East, is used to bring this latest catastrophe to her shores. None see how they are being used, deceived by satan. The only thing which can save us is repentance.

'...if My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.' 2 Chronicles 7:14.

'...But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness...' 1 John 1:19

30 years ago, there were prophetic voices saying that the terrible shaking coming on the world were signs of judgment. Then after a while we started hearing political voices, Al Gore and co. shouting about how the strange weather and catastrophes which were occurring more and more frequently, were simply because the world was warming up and humans were responsible. Typical of the enemy to throw clever lies into the mix to turn people's minds and hearts from repentance to environmental action, as if by going green we could wash the blood off our hands.
Now it looks as if the black gold is sticking as well.

Jonathan and the Sons of Zadok

by Bill Britton.

Herein lies one the of the strangest, and saddest, stories of the Bible. The story of a fine young man who saw the coming of a new order, actually prophesied of the coming Kingdom, who knew and loved the coming King dearly, yet missed being in that glorious Kingdom simply because he never got around to coming out of the old order! And with this story comes a solemn warning to those who are seeing the coming of a new order to the Church, who know what it is to feel the anointing of that new Move of the Spirit, who have every reason to be included in that glorious new Kingdom, yet who are in great danger of 'missing the ascent to the Throne' simply because, like Jonathan, they will not separate themselves from the old order and "come out of her, my people". They continue to hang around the edges of what God is doing in these last days, content to keep in touch with the anointed people in the wilderness, but not willing to bear the reproach of being one of that "motley crew" in Adullam. Now read on, if you dare.

'Swifter than the Eagle'

Jonathan was one of the finest and most admirable young men in the Bible. Many wonderful attributes are recorded of him, and not one sin laid to his charge. He was a man of faith, courage, vision, unselfishness, and deep spirituality. He was a King's son, next in line for the throne of his father. But he laid all this aside for the love of David, God's anointed, for he saw that it was the will of God for David to be the next King. The first we see of Jonathan is in the 13th chapter of 1 Samuel. He is in Gibeah at the head of a thousand men in the army of his father, Saul. Here he refused to compromise or coexist with the devilish Philistines, but smote a garrison of them, and thus precipitated a crisis in Israel. His courage knew no limit. The Bible says that he was "swifter than the eagle, stronger than the lion". His army was not so. They had few weapons, were used to being trampled under the feet of the Philistines, and upon occasion they would flee to the rocks and the caves. He dwellt in the midst of a fearful and trembling people, but he was as bold as a lion, for he trusted in the living God.

'By Many or by Few'

As we go to the 14th chapter of 1 Samuel, we find Jonathan initiating a great victory over the Philistines, with the help of the God of heaven. He started out alone, with only the young man that bear his armour, and after putting out a fleece to God, he single-handedly attacked an entire garrison of the Philistines. He had to crawl up a mountain on his hands and feet in order to get to them, but when he got there he caused such a slaughter that the entire Philistine army went into utter confusion and began to attack each other. God stepped in with an earthquake and a great trembling, and there was a great victory that day. Jonathan was one who knew what it was to eat of the fresh honey and have his eyes enlightened and his soul strengthened. As a result, he also knew what it was to face the wrath of Saul, who is a type of the man-made king over God's people. But though he sees the wrongness in this system, he continues to stay in it.

'And He Stripped Himself'

After young David came along on that memorable day and slew Goliath, we find David and Jonathan becoming very close friends. In fact, it says: "The soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle." The love between these two brave young men, the shepherd boy and the prince, was the brightest thing in Israel at this dark hour of history. Jonathan had at last found someone who did not run from the Philistines, someone whose courage matched his own. And he felt the divine anointing that rested upon David. For Samuel had anointed David with the horn of oil, to be king over Israel in Saul's place. And Jonathan came to the knowledge that David was the one to sit on the throne, not himself. For if he ascended to the throne of his father Saul, he could only continue the order his father was in, and he knew that this was not of God. But here was a new order, a new anointing, a new Kingdom that Israel had never experienced before. And God had ordained it. So Jonathan stripped himself of his princely garments and gave them to David. This was all while David was in Saul's house, under Saul's rule.

'David in the Wilderness'

Suddenly a great reproach falls upon David. It comes from nothing evil that he has done. No sin can be laid to his charge. But Saul is suddenly jealous over the anointing that is on David, and he tries to destroy that anointing. So David flees for his life into a wilderness place. Jonathan does not go along. He stays in Saul's house. He still loves David, he knows David has the anointing and the true message from God, but he is not quite ready to leave father's house and break all the family ties and bear the reproach that David is bearing. How many there are that are pictured here! They love the anointing and the true message of the Kingdom. They are willing to make any sacrifice, pray, fast, go, and give… just to have that anointing. Except leave the old order. When it comes to that, they cannot see the need for it. Now it is not courage that is lacking. They have courage, and a great love for God. Like Jonathan, they are full of many fine qualities. But they cannot hear the trumpet saying "Come out of her, my people." They can hardly understand why the "Davids" have to waste their time in the "wilderness", with that little motley band of discontents, when they could be doing so much more, preaching to bigger crowds, winning more souls, sitting at Saul's table. They just can't see the reason for the separation. If David had gone forth with the approval of the organization, making some desperate charge against a powerful enemy, then Jonathan wouldn't have hesitated a minute. But what is David doing? Nothing. Just sitting out there in a cave somewhere, or hiding in the woods with his little band of four hundred men. Now four hundred may seem like a great congregation to some of these Move of God preachers who can hardly remember when they had more than fifty to preach to. But compared to the hundreds of thousands that Saul could assemble by blowing a trumpet, it was a tiny crowd.

"David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam (Heb. 'rest'): and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him. And everyone that was in distress, and everyone that was in debt, and everyone that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men" (1 Sam 22:1-2)

Where is Jonathan? Back in Saul's house, probably sitting around wondering what is happening with God's anointed tonight, maybe wishing he could just be there and hear David sing some of the psalms that God is giving him by the Spirit. He attends Saul's banquets, but they are dead, dry affairs, full of business meetings, committee meetings, programs, promotional humbug, political maneuvering, arguing and bad spirits floating around. Yet he can't seem to pull away. Maybe you think he can do more good for David there in Saul's palace. Friends, believe me, God will take care of David. But he needs Jonathan out there in the wilderness with him. He is training an army, making leaders and future heroes. And Jonathan desperately needs to be in that Army. And there is a place for him. But he can't leave the old order, break the family ties and bear the reproach from his brethren. Now Jonathan knows David is right, and that the new order will eventually come in. And on occasion he says so. Saul wants Jonathan to kill David, but in 1 Samuel chapters 19 and 20 we find Jonathan opposing his father and refusing to put his hand against this new move of the Spirit. This infuriates Saul so that he rails out at Jonathan and threatens him: 'Then Saul's anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said unto him, "Thou son of the perverse and rebellious woman, do not I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to thine own confusion?" '(1 Sam 20:30) Saul goes on to tell Jonathan that as long as this new order is alive, that Jonathan will never be able to take over the old order and get it established. But Jonathan refuses to oppose David, and Saul throws a javelin at him. But he still will not leave Saul. He knows that there is an evil spirit troubling his father's house, and that there is no victory in the camp. But there are strong natural ties that hold him.

'I Shall be Next to Thee'

Perhaps you think that Jonathan is not aware of what is going to happen to Saul's kingdom? Listen to him as he slips off secretly and visits David out in the woods:... "And he said unto him, "Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and THOU SHALT BE KING OVER ISRAEL, AND I SHALL BE NEXT UNTO THEE; and that also Saul my father knoweth." And they two made a covenant before the Lord: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house."
Now David only had a few with him, and they were in the wilderness. But the blessings of God were "flowing" there in Ziph. But what a tragedy in those last few words. Jonathan has all good intentions. He has a true vision. He has a tremendous revelation of the coming Kingdom, probably more than most of the men who follow David. A lot of the men were in the wilderness with David becausethey had no place else to go, or they were discontent with the old system. Some were there because they didn't want to go to a debtor's prison, and some because they admired his ministry and the way he had killed Goliath. Some perhaps even had caught a vision of the message of the new order of the Kingdom. But none had the picture so clearly as Jonathan.

'He had the revelation'

He loved the anointing. But all during the wilderness processing, he was missing!! Why? He couldn't get around to coming out of the old order. And when the new Kingdom came in and David sat on the throne, Jonathan was not standing there by him as he had prophesied. Why? Because the day that Saul fell in the battle, Jonathan was still with him, and fell also under the sword of the Philistines. There was a time when Jonathan could put a whole army of Philistines to flight single-handedly. But that was because 'God was with him'. Listen friends, what worked yesterday won't work today, because the order is changing, and 'God is moving on'. Either move on 'with Him', or you'll find yourself missing out on the greatest thing man has ever seen.

Babylon is going to fall, and if you don't come out of her, you'll find yourself falling with her, "being a partaker of her sins, and receiving of her plagues." There is a little Army in the wilderness today, small, insignificant, reproached, lied-about, but anointed of God. They don't seem to be doing much, but they are *not* idle. They are in training. Mighty men of war are being raised up, men who will soon go forth and in the power of the new Kingdom order do that which Saul and all his armies have not been able to do. Saul started his reign with a battle against the Philistines, and for a while it looked like he would do alright and was making good gains against the enemy. But after 40 years on the throne, the Philistines were still around, and in fact, they overcame Saul in the end and hung his body in the halls of their false god. Jonathan's body hung there also, a reproach to the man who saw the glory from afar, but never received the inheritance... [abridged]

The Glory has Departed

There has always been a satanic agenda to invade the charismatic Christian scene with a 5th column of liberal theology and New Age/ pagan elements in order to cast doubt on what God has said.
(The crest opposite is the crest of the Fabian Society , an organisation founded in Britain in 1884, which became known for its socialist, intellectual and occultic membership, whose aim was a new social order ruled by an intellectual oligarchy. The intellectual fruit of such organisations, intentionally or not, was the furtherance of the watering down of the Gospel and higher biblical criticism in theological circles in Britain; Sadduceeism, in other words, something against which Jesus warned his disciples to be as much on their guard as Pharisaism. (Matt.15:6) )

Now it seems as if it's becoming blatant.
A large reason for this is Christians' huge lack of biblical knowledge; the sheer disobedience of older believers to teach the WHOLE counsel of God instead of humanistically inspired, shallow, psycho-spiritual fast-food to immature believers, and the general tendency of many so-called 'leaders', who are paid hirelings, and often at heart, only out for their own gain, to preach or teach what will make 'their' flocks happy. They have failed to warn and protect them from wolves in sheep's clothing. Satan is prowling up and down like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. The only thing which can protect the believer from deception is a thorough working knowledge of the word of God, coupled with a close walk in the Holy Spirit and deep love for Jesus, the Good Shepherd.

The eternal onslaught on the veracity and power of the inspired word of God goes on.

Last June, the Wissenschaftsrat - (German Council of Science and Humanities) Germany's highest body of scientists, awarded the conservative evangelical theological academy, the Freien Theologischen Akademie (FTA) in Gießen, official state recognition as a university. The FTA is the evangelical theological faculty from which the FeG churches (Freie evangelische Gemeinden) in Germany derive their leaders. The price for this prostitution to the whore of Babylon (state recognition) was the willingness of the FTA, officially given by the WR, the advisory body to the Federal (and state) Government(s) to be open to teach liberal theology, 'to afford the admission of scientific biblical criticism.'

Since science is perhaps one of the chief idols of our age, it is not surprising that again, an increasingly institutionalised church is bowing down to it. If godless, arrogant liberalism is now permitted entry to what used to be least in theory, a bastion of biblical, doctrinal faithfulness, what is to become of the faith of those Christians, who in 50 years' time, see themselves as 'members' of this denomination?

Those who criticise Christians who leave the institutional church, please take note.
(I Samuel 4:21) "The glory has departed from Israel," ... is it any wonder that thousands of mature, Spirit-filled believers are also leaving, as well as thousands of nominal church goers who no longer see believing, obedience demonstrated to them, only confirming their unbelief?
(Amos 2:4) "...they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments..."
(2 Chronicles 36:16) "But they mocked God’s messengers, despised his words and scoffed at his prophets until the wrath of the LORD was aroused against his people and there was no remedy."
(Hosea 4:5-6 ) "You stumble day and night, and the prophets stumble with you... my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children."

The tendency of believers to prefer to seek sensual experiences and trust their own experience, or lack of it, above the word of God, (as well as above Jesus, the Word of God) is the attitude which is leading to the following:

Strange Fire in the House of the Lord
by J. Lee Grady.

We need to be careful. Current fads involving angels, ecstatic worship and necromancy could push us off the edge of spiritual sanity. No one fully understands what Nadab and Abihu did to prompt God to strike them dead in the sanctuary of Israel. The Bible says they loaded their firepans with incense, ignited the substance and "offered strange fire before the Lord, which He had not commanded them" (Lev. 10:1, NASB). As a result of their careless and irreverent behavior, fire came from God's presence and consumed them. Zap. In an instant they were ashes.

When Moses had to explain to Aaron what happened to the two men, he said: "It is what the Lord spoke, saying, ‘By those who come near to Me I will be treated as holy, and before all the people I will be honored'" (v. 3).

Although we don't know the details of what Nadab and his brother did with the holy incense, we know they were careless and irreverent about the things of God. We want the miracles of God, but we also want the fear and reverence of God. We cannot allow this strange fire to spread unchecked.

This ancient story has relevant application for us today. We don't use incense or firepans in our worship, but we are expected to handle God's Word with care and minister to His people in the fear of the Lord. In other words: No funny business allowed. We aren't allowed to mix God's Word with foreign concepts or mix our worship with pagan practices.

Yet as I minister in various churches around this country I am finding that strange fire is spreading in our midst-even in churches that call themselves "Spirit-filled."

Pastors and leaders need to be aware of these trends:

1. Deadly visitations. In some charismatic circles today, people are claiming to have spiritual experiences that involve communication with the dead. One Michigan pastor told me last week that some church leaders he knows promote this bizarre practice and base it on Jesus' experience on the Mount of Transfiguration. The logic is that since Jesus talked to Moses and Elijah on the day He was glorified, this gives us permission to talk to dead Christians and our dead relatives.Although little is said about these experiences from the pulpit (since the average believer is not ready to handle this "new revelation"), people in some streams of the prophetic movement are claiming to have visitations from Aimee Semple McPherson, William Branham, John Wimber or various Bible characters. And we are expected to say, "Ooooooo, that's so deep" - and then go looking for our own mystical, beyond-the-grave epiphany. That is creepy.

Communication with the dead was strictly forbidden in the Old Testament (see Deut. 18:11), and there is nothing in the New that indicates the rules were changed. Those who seek counsel from the dead - whether through mediums and séances or in "prophetic visions" - are taking a dangerous step toward demonization.

2. Ecstatic rapture. Not long after ecstasy became known as a recreational drug, someone in our movement got the bright idea to promote spiritual ecstasy as a form of legitimate worship. The concept evolved from "spiritual drunkenness" to the current fad in which people gather at church altars and pretend to shoot needles in their arms for a "spiritual high." Some preachers today are encouraging people to "toke the Holy Ghost" - a reference to smoking marijuana.

I hate to be a party pooper, but the Bible warns us to "be of sound judgment and sober spirit" (1 Pet. 4:7). There is plenty of freedom and joy in the Holy Spirit; we don't have to quench it by introducing people to pagan revelry. Christian worship is not about losing control. Those who worship Jesus do it "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:24), and our love for God is not measured by how violently we shake or how many times we fall on the floor.

Recently I told a friend in Pennsylvania that when people get tired of this drug imagery it won't be long before we see some Christians having sexual experiences at the altar. "It's already happening," my friend said. He described a recent "worship concert" in which one of the musicians simulated sex while stroking a microphone and whispering sensual phrases to Jesus. What is next - orgasmic worship? God help us.

3. Angels among us. Angels have always played a vital role in the life of the church. They are "ministering spirits" sent to protect, guide and strengthen believers (Heb. 1:14). But suddenly angels have become the rage in some segments of our movement. People are claiming to see them everywhere, and often the stories don't line up with the Word of God.During the Lakeland Revival last year in Florida, a man from Germany took the stage and claimed that an angel walked into a restaurant while he was eating a hamburger, took his intestines out and replaced them with a gold substance. Others have testified that angels took them to heaven and operated on them. And many are claiming that angels are dropping feathers, gold dust and precious gems on worshippers.

I know God can do anything. He can make an iron axe head float, hide a coin in a fish's mouth and use a little boy's lunch to feed a multitude. Those were genuine miracles that He can still do today. But we still have to use caution here. There are counterfeits. If we promote a false miracle or a false angel in the Lord's house, we are participating in strange fire.
I know of a case where a man was caught planting fake jewels on the floor of a church. He told his friends he was "seeding the room" to lift the people's faith. I know of others who have been caught putting gold glitter on themselves in a restroom and then running back in a church service, only to claim that God was blessing them with this special favor.

Where is the fear of God when Christians would actually fabricate a miracle? This is a time for all true believers with backbones to draw clear lines between what is godly worship and what is pagan practice. We want the miracles of God, but we also want the fear and reverence of God. We cannot allow this strange fire to spread unchecked.

Solar and Lunar Eclipses in 2014/15

This is very remarkable.

Is the Bride of Christ awake or are we sleeping?

Voices in the world are beginning to ask if, what with all the natural disasters which are occurring increasingly, something strange isn't going on. Things are definitely hotting up.

However, rather than becoming unhealthily obsessed with the prophetic, we need to be seeking the Lord and asking Him to give us a heart for the lost and ask Him to fill us with loving boldness, so that in the time we still have, we can be sharing the good news that God loves them, before it's too late.

Our motivation needs to come out of a deep intimacy with Father and a complete confidence in His grace and affection for His children. We are 'in Messiah', so we have His affection - we are no longer 'children of wrath' - by the covenant in His blood we are saved out of the kingdom of darkness.

Father, give us opportunities to share Jesus with those we know around us - in and out of season.

Prophecies from the past

In 1889, British missionary Hudson Taylor was on furlough in England. As he was preaching, he suddenly stopped and stood speechless, his eyes closed. When he began to speak again, he explained:"I have seen a vision. I saw in this vision a great war that encompasses the world. I saw this war recess and then start again, actually being two wars. After this I saw much unrest and revolts that will affect many nations. I saw in some places spiritual awakenings. In Russia I saw there will come a general all-encompassing, national spiritual awakening, so great that there could never be another like it. From Russia, I saw the awakening spread to many European countries. Then I saw an all-out awakening, followed by the second coming of Christ."

In the turbulent years preceding the 1917 revolution in Russia, when Europe was to pour out the abomination of communism on the land, a young aristocratic woman (later to become Mother Barbara, Abbess of the Russian Church of St Mary Magdalen on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem), used to visit a ‘holy’ man or ‘staretz’ in the Kremlin, Bishop Aristocoli. He prophesied many things about the End Times in Europe – and in Russia. The Bishop foretold that Europe would be laid waste and Germany divided in two – France would be as nothing, America would feed the world but would finally collapse - that England would lose her Empire and colonies, and be on the verge of collapse, but be saved in the last hours through praying women.About Russia, Bishop Aristocoli said, “An evil will shortly take Russia [the 1917 Communist Revolution] and wherever this evil comes rivers of blood will flow. It is not of the Russian soul, but an imposition on the Russian soul. It is a spirit from hell. But finally Russia will be free and from out of Russia believers will go forth and turn many nations to God.”

Superbug linked to Homosexual Behaviour

Superbug linked to homosexual behavior

'Society hasn't learned from the AIDS pandemic'

Posted: January 15, 20088:30 pm Eastern© 2008 WorldNetDaily.com

Eerily reminiscent of reports a quarter century ago of the rapidly spreading AIDS epidemic, a new variety of staphylococcus bacteria, highly resistant to antibiotics, is now spreading among homosexual males in San Francisco, Boston, New York and Los Angeles, according to a new report in the Annals of Internal Medicine.

"Wake up, medical and political establishment: Homosexual behavior is unhealthy, no matter how many secular sermons you preach against 'homophobia,'" wrote Peter LaBarbera in a statement on the Americans for Truth About Homosexuality website.

"Due to liberal political correctness, which insists on treating aberrant, even deadly, behaviors and lifestyles as a 'civil right,' we as a society don't seem to have learned much from the AIDS pandemic," he said.
He called it an "eerie reminder" of the first stories about AIDS. "It is unfathomable that after that plague, disease specialists and the media are now surprised at the correlation of a new infection with homosexual behavior," he said.

The study noted that cases were found in the highest concentrations in and around San Francisco's Castro district and in patients who visit health clinics that treat HIV infections in homosexuals in Boston and San Francisco.

The bacteria is called methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, and has been seen previously in hospitalized patients. However over the last few years, researchers said its impact has expanded, with a strain called USA300 now being documented as an exceptionally drug-resistant variant.

The bacteria is resistant to six common antibiotics, and the study revealed that nearly 1 in 500 residents in San Francisco's Castro neighborhood is infected. The risk homosexuals will contract it is 13 times greater than the rest of the city's population.

"We probably had it here first, and now it is spreading elsewhere," Binh An Deip, the report's lead author, told the San Francisco Chronicle. "This is a national problem, and San Francisco is at the epicenter."

The infection causes boils and other infections but the report said what is unusual is that up to 40 percent of the infections occur in the buttocks and genitalia.

"Data suggest that multidrug-resistant USA300 has spread rapidly among men who have sex with men in San Francisco and Boston, and that having male-male sex seems to be a risk factor," the report said.

The report also warned that because of the "patterns of increased sexual risk behaviors" among homosexuals, largely because of a carelessness that has resulted from "the availability of potent antiretroviral therapy" to treat HIV, there also has been an accompanying resurgence in early syphilis, rectal gonorrhea and new HIV infections among the homosexual populations studied.

Some cases even have developed into "necrotizing fascitis," the so-called "flesh-eating" disease because of its quick progression that often requires surgery, or amputation, to halt its progress, the report said.
"It is not clear whether the behavior potentiating these infections among men who have sex with men is anal sex, skin-abrading sexual practices, or increased frequency of intimate skin-to-skin contact; prevention messages may therefore need to suggest caution in each of these practices," the report said.

LaBarbera said the following questions need to be answered urgently:

Why aren't all schoolchildren being taught that there are special health risks associated with homosexual behavior and that they should "just say no" to homosexuality?

Why won't the news media make the common-sense connection between these frequent stories about (male) homosexual behavior and disease to the idea that perhaps it's probably not smart for society and pop culture to celebrate homosexuality and bisexuality?

Why isn't there a concerted government effort, akin to the current anti-smoking campaigns to rein in homosexual promiscuity, beginning with closing down all sex businesses (bathhouses) that facilitate homosexual perversion?

He noted just one reader comment in the Chronicle:

"We as a species just don't seem to get it: There are consequences to behavior!" wrote luvgabe. "We no longer take AIDS seriously anymore because of drug treatment, so we go back to doing the same behaviour, which brings on a new epidemic that now threatens to jump the boundary to become a hetero scourge as well."

The report noted the bacteria resists "several important antimicrobial classes for treatment, including clindamycin, tetracycline, and mupirocin." It actually fails to respond significantly to erythromycin, Cipro-like antibiotics and drugs in the penicillin family, too.
Of the antibiotics still available in the battle, the study warns, "prudent use, for suspected MRSA disease in men who have sex with men is advisable to slow the emergence of even more resistant community-associated MRSA."

The federal Centers for Disease Control documents that various forms of MRSA are costing 19,000 lives annually in the United States already.

The study estimated some 200 cases of the new bacterial variant are developing in San Francisco annually, mostly among homosexuals.

"We are nowhere near the peak," Diep told the newspaper.

Matt Barber, policy director for cultural issues with Concerned Women for America, said society has adopted a lassez faire attitude toward such sexual behaviors.

"Television shows like 'Will and Grace' glorify the homosexual lifestyle while our children are taught in schools that homosexuality is a perfectly healthy, alternative sexual 'orientation.' 'Stay out of our bedrooms!' we're often commanded by militant 'gay' activists," he said. "Well, now the dangerous and possibly deadly consequence of what occurs in those bedrooms is spilling over into the general population. It's not only frightening, it's infuriating.
"Citizens, especially parents, need to stand up and say, 'No More! We will no longer sit idly by while politically correct cultural elites endanger our children and larger communities through propagandist promotion of this demonstrably deadly lifestyle,'" he said.

Ezekiel 33:11
'Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die?'

Third World War

This is a vision that a 90-year-old woman in Norway had in 1968. At that time, she foretold or prophesied that many perversions would come into the church world before the Third World War. A minister recorded her vision, but he considered that the perversions she described were so incredible, that he refused to publish it. However, after 30 years, such gross perversions had come into so many churches that the minister remembered these prophetic warnings that this elderly lady had proclaimed, and he looked through his files and found her message. Now he decided that this vision was truly a message from God, and he should publish it. This minister’s name is Dr. Emmanuel Minos (a well-known conference speaker in Norway). The name of the 90-year-old lady is not given, but the name of her hometown was given as: Valdres.

I am presenting this for your spiritual discernment according to passage where the Apostle Paul told us to judge prophecy. (1st Corinthians 14:29). Please read and discern for yourselves. Here is the message that was shown to the 90-year-lady and recorded by Dr. Minos:

I saw, just before the return of our Lord, another World War. The world appeared [in my vision] as a globe— Scandinavia, Europe and also many nations. Then I observed certain events which would happen before the terrible catastrophe. There were four special signs:

1.
Prior to the world-wide conflict and the coming of the Lord, there would be a very peaceful period, as never experienced previously, between the powerful nations from the East and the West. In many countries there would be a disarmament programme resulting in their being completely unprepared for this crisis, which would happen in a most unexpected way.

2.
In the churches compromise and apathy would prevail and a falling away from true, living Christianity. The Christians will not want to listen to serious prophetic ministry before the coming of Jesus. The messages of law and grace, sin and the Gospel, repentance and salvation will be ignored. There will be a substitute prosperity gospel.
The main emphasis will be on making an impression and being successful. Materialism will dominate. Churches and chapels will become empty and be sold for other purposes. Instead of the proclamation of the cross and following Jesus, renewal, holiness and preparation for His coming; there will be entertainment and cultural experiences. This will definitely increase.

3.
There will be a moral collapse such as we have never known before in Norway. People will be living in immorality and adultery. There will be uncleanness before marriage and unfaithfulness between husbands and wives. Such actions will be considered normal and many excuses will be made. There will be sinful relationships between men and women. Christian families will be affected, and even allow such things to happen.
In the times before His coming, there will be an enormous increase of Television Stations and programmes with an explosion of violence which will result in an escalation of crime, such that people will not feel safe to walk on the streets. It will be similar with the Radio Stations. People will view and listen to scenes of death and destruction, evil and wickedness, which will influence society. And this will be considered entertaining and exciting!
Dr. Minos added: The dear old lady said to me. "This will really happen and you will see it . The good will be removed and the evil will be regarded as quite normal."

4.
From the underdeveloped countries people will pour into Europe and they will come to Scandinavia and also to Norway. There will be such an influx that eventually [our] people will look upon these immigrants in a negative way and will treat them very badly.
Then the high point of our sins will be reached, followed by the 3rd World War and the coming of the Lord Jesus.
[Editor: In this passage, the 90-year-old writer connected the 3rd World War and the coming of the Lord Jesus—exactly as Jesus connected the Great Tribulation and his coming in the 24th chapter of Matthew, verses 29-31:
Immediately after the tribulation of those days....then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven, and they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels....and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
If the first 3 signs that this lady gave turned out to be correct, isn’t that strong evidence that the 4th would probably be correct?] Continuing this lady’s message:

The actual conflict [3rd World War] will not last long. There will be no comparison with this final battle! The air will be so unclean that the people will not be able to breathe properly.
This will spread to the continents of America, Asia and Australia and especially the richer countries. Water will be considered unsafe to drink. The earth will not provide the usual harvests. Consequently only a few will survive and people will try to move to the poorer countries, but they will also be treated in a very harsh manner.
Now I am glad that I shall not experience what I have seen in the future, but when this time approaches, you must have courage to declare this vision which God has given to me. Nothing must be contrary to the Bible. The people who know the forgiveness of their sins and that Jesus is Lord and Savior will be protected and saved!

WHEN THE OIL FLOWS

An elder in the Pentecostal Church at Moss, Norway, Martin Andersen, heard the following prophecy in 1937, in Moss:
‘When oil comes out of the North Sea and along the Norwegian coast, things will begin to happen, and the return of Jesus is approaching.’
When these words had been proclaimed, people stood up in the congregation and asked the man to sit down and not speak such nonsense. In 1937 it was indeed nonsense to talk about oil being pumped along the Norwegian coast. Today all the world’s big oil companies are pumping oil along the coast of Norway. Norway is the world’s second greatest exporter of oil - after Saudi Arabia.
The sum of it all is: Jesus is coming soon (suddenly).

Editor’s note: The above account was originally transmitted from Israel to friends in the US. It was sent by a Norwegian Christian worker by the name of Ragna Von Porat. Ragna states in a footnote that it was translated from Danish. She further states that Emanuel Minos, the evangelist mentioned in the account, was her friend’s closest neighbor in Oslo. She says, "I heard him in my young days. My parents knew him."
Because of my fear of transmitting false prophecy, I have diligently inquired concerning the information in this letter. Publication has been delayed until permission could be secured from Ragna in Israel. In my contact with her, she has assured me that these accounts are true and reliable. In fact, she relates that the first account has already been published in one of Norway’s Christian newspapers.
I have found in my own research that the first account was also published by the Christian Information Service in Germany. The website of Dr. Emanuel Minos is active today and can be accessed for verification. Although the language on this site is Norwegian, the very similar story of the woman and her vision is posted there in English. The above accounts are transmitted just as they were received.
Ragna took it upon herself to verify as much of the above information as she could. In contacting the Embassy of Norway she learned that Norway has now dropped to the world’s third largest oil exporter.
Ragna states, "I certainly have no objection to your going ahead [with publishing]. It must be now-if ever."
